Friends@Home

Where the magic begins

In our flagship Friends@Home program, Jewish teen volunteers are paired with a Jewish child or teen with a disability based on location, age, availability, and sometimes gender and interests. Once a match is made, the teen volunteer visits his/her new Friendship Circle buddy on a weekly basis for one hour at home during the school year. Both gain a friend, and the teen volunteers have access to our educational workshops we provide throughout the school year.

If you are a family that has a child or teen with a disability and you think they would benefit from having a Jewish friend visit them weekly for one hour during the school year, register here.

We are delighted to announce that we are extending Friends@Home to matching Jewish adult volunteers with Jewish adults with a disability! Please use the “Adult Volunteers” form to register if you wish to be an adult volunteer.

All We need is YOU.
